Statement of Intent

Abnormal
Abnormal: "Deviating from what is normal or usual, typically in a way that is undesirable or worrying." This definition opens up a range of ideas such as, abnormal looks/features for portrait, abnormal behaviour, or abnormal shapes in nature for landscape or still life photography

Slow Shutter Speed:
"The technique is used by slow shutter speed combined with panning the camera to create a motion blur for moving objects. Shutter speed or exposure time is the length of time a camera's shutter is open when taking photograph. The amount of light that reaches the image sensor is proportional to the exposure time."

Maykel Lima: Lima's work was appropriate for the idea of 'Paranormal' as I feel it has a very supernatural element. Most of Lima's images are in black and white, a lot of images dark with harsh lighting, this makes this images look rather disturbing.

My idea to portray abnormality is to express a different way of looking at everday scenes. For xample, the slow shutter speed of light, the merging of two themes and
