Shoot 9

This shoot is a slow shutter speed shoot. I simply used an iPhone torch in a dark room with coloured cellophane over the top filtering the colours of light. To create the shapes, I simply just moved the camera on each shot. Each exposure lasted about 3-5 seconds long, enough time to move the camera to different angles and zoom in an out to create different effects. For some images I used to iPhone torch light under a glass of red liquid.

This result used a previous portrait image of my model, Mollie and one of the slow shutter images that used two different colours of cellophane. I am very intereste in the vibrance and contrast of this image in the white/neon looking light againststhe black background. I like the idea of layering the two photographs as it gives an unusual effect - this relates to my theme of abnormal. also think the two photos complement each other in the sense that the slow shutter light image is a similar shape to the outline of the model, however still have enough space to allow the eyes of the model to come through.I do feel perhaps the exposure of the portrait image is underexposed.

For the next two images, I used the same technique of the slow shutter images layered with a portrait image however I edited the colours and saturation of the images and found that the red and turquoise blue. In the first image (to the left), the portrait image is slightly less saturated  and colourless than the next image (further down).
