This shoot was taken at mid day on a local trading estate inside and around a building that, within the past few years, experienced a fire. I chose this location becase of the ruined architecture of the building and the shapes and surfaces that the fire created. What I liked most about this shoot was the silhouettes created in the roof. All that was left of the roof was steel bars for structure and sheets of metal which were eroding with rust and becaue of this, the inside of the building was now open and exposed. The metal beams that lay across the roof make an interesting silhouette against the sky - this was what created some ofthe most interesting photographs. My plan fo this shoot is to use techniques of Stezaker, Mora and Clair, and create double or multiple exposure images within industry/building landscape.
