Shoot 2
This shoot is based on developing slow shutter/long exposure work. I focused on outdoor landscapes to make the movement of the model more abnormal on a normal background. I didn't feel that this was a very successful shoot. Majority of my images didn't turn out the way I wanted them to. It was very hard to get the movement of the model right so that she was seen in all of the photograph, like Bill Wadmans shoot, however I found that there was too much natural lighting and even with a longer exposure time, it was stil very difficult to capture a lot of movement from the model.
This image was probably the most successful of my images. The background of the photo is all in focus however the model is blurred with motion not by accident which means a successful outcome. I have reduced the saturation of the image to make it feel darker and more eerie to fit the abnormal theme. | Thi image was also one of the roe successful images however still not quite how I wanted it. I felt like I waned the model to blur in motion and have a wider blur however we can still see one full figure. Ideally, I would've liked to have been able to see several figures or two figures that look joint by the blur. |
