Although it may look to steer away form the fitness idea and the lifestyle - my next idea is to develop the general lifestyle away from bodybuilding and exercise but also the effects it has on everyday life, such as how exhaustion effects college/university work. I felt it was important to move away from the intensity of training and making progress to show the reality of still living an average life. This is how my next couple of shoots developed by looking at both extremes of this lifestyle. I felt it was important to show that there was more to this lifestyle than progressing and building the body, and that life still need to be lived. The idea of this shows mental power, avoiding obsession, addiction and maintaining a normal life to stay sane. I believed this was mental power and these shoots and the editing was how to show it.

I chose these images through pinterest research, looking for the daily life, daily routine etc. Many of the images don't directly relate to the subject of the bodybuilding however I believe my idea relates to my theme of power. The whole idea of this was to portray the daily routine of the bodybuilder (Josh) that maintains a lifestyle revolving around the bodybuilding. I believe photographing his everyday routines and trying to capture how he lives his day by recording his moods, feelings, energy, happiness etc. shows mental power and how he copes with everyday tasks when in training.

I chose these images for the composition, editing and lighting. I feel they are very natural images, no artificial lighting, no studio work and no posing. For my next shoot I want to capture Josh living naturally instead of capturing his progression by posing. In my photoshoot I hope to photograph Josh cooking his meals, preparing for his day at work/university, doing work from home as an average student, and other everyday routines.

The outcome will be to show mental power: capability, patience, moods and feelings.
